finally a story that gives me the trope that i prefer for a story with a smut. an equal exchange this trope will always be superior. writers should take note!

The smut scenes are really nice because it isn't just mindless fucking it's actually romantic and i like how the fl doesn't just sit there and let the ml do whatever he wants she actually has a mind of her own and initiates it pretty often

Good first chapter with decent art.
But it’s fairly easy to start a story well.

After flipping through the first dozen or so raw manwha chapters, I’ll come back for more. I’m curious to see how things will go.

Mostly because I read the comments on raw chapters and I’m curious what the content is actually about. ((Translating the actual comic takes too much effort for me. 😅)

Basically the reviews frequently repeated things like “Oh, I can only see this ending catastrophically/in catastrophe.” Regarding the Ml and FL .
“Omg, they’re barely even trying to hide this, of course they’ll get caught; the anxiety is killing me.
“FL is too innocent and naive about how the world really is.”
“So like are all 3 of them going to end up together?”
“Is the count gay?”
“Is the count into NTR or something? Is he going to end up watching them or something?

…We all know people can write some wild theories and reactions in the comments, so I take all these things with a grain of salt. Still, out of curiosity I’ll be back to see what they might’ve been referring to.

What I do know is that the sexual exploits between the main characters is pretty well depicted. And the FL is an active participant. Not some ultra-pure dead fish that repeatedly denies herself in bed (or on the floor, in the hall, in a log cabin, etc.)

And it’s always nice when both characters are of the same sexual experience level.

It annoys me when one partner has tons of experiences while the other has minimal or none, but the endgame is the two of them together forever. Because when it ends that way, I know it basically means that the lesser experienced partner will miss out on the chance to explore a very important aspect of their own human nature. And that leaves me unsatisfied. 😕 
I mean, having more numerous sex partners in itself isn’t my point. By “experiences” I mean both sexually and romantically. — I’d be equally happy if both partners have fallen in love in the past, as I would be to hear that neither has ever been in love but have both had lovers in the past. — But having an endgame couple where one person is “experienced” while the other isn’t (and never will be outside of their current partner) just leaves me like “🫤 …I hope they get around to having an open relationship some day. Life is too short for that. There’s good reasons first loves don’t typically last for lifetimes.”

Anyway, I’m glad that’s not an issue here as both characters appear to be virgins from the start.

Since only 7 chapters are out I can't say that the story is a masterpiece and it's a must-read but so far it definitely feels very refreshing from the usual historical romances. It seems more mature and grounded, the art style definitely helps with that a lot(it's so so gorgeous and delicate and brings some childhood nostalgia). Also, I'm being petty but I hate the weird names in these type of manhwas so I'm very happy that the characters here have normal names. I also like the execution of the trope where the FL's family sees her just as a way to gain status and money. They aren't over exaggeratedly angry and cruel to her all the time but you can still feel that dynamic. I could go on more because there are A LOT of little things about this that I love like the accurate underwear or their clothing and hairstyles but nobody's going to read my ramblings so I'll leave it at that.

Quite possibly the hottest, greenest flag of an ML I've ever seen. Not too mention, the art is so pretty and the story is engaging. This has the potential to be one of my favorites.

This is like, the second time I've read smut scenes that were actually romantic. And I would advise not to mind reviews of people who have read only upto chapter 10 or something. Also, the count isn't all that bad.

Now this is the straight master x servant romance that i want. 

Also i see similarities to “House of desire” but the leads’ status are reversed, Both have blonde FLS and black haired MLs.
